Thus begins the beer

Ok folks. There has been some demand for my videos from my beer tour honeymoon. Let's start with my time in Salzburg Austria. Here I am reviewing Kaiser Marzen by Stern Brau. It was very interesting to taste, but was much more like a heavy Kolsch than a true Marzen. Regardless, it was fantastic and easy to drink (like all German lagers). The main shock I got in Germany was that the beer is world class, but boring. Brussels is the true epicenter of the beer world with wild, exotic flavors. Germany makes perfect, smooth lagers that have some of the best malt flavors I have ever tasted. However that is all they make. Belgium makes everything you can imagine and then some. Bars in Beligium have hundreds of beers. German beer halls have 3 (light, dark, wheat). So Belgium is like Netflix, while Germany is like your trusty home library of DVDs like Goodfellas and Caddyshack.

Wecome to the Pax Paulana

Welcome all. The time has come to celebrate abundance, good friends, and beer. This blog is dedicated to all my friends who have taught me the importance of creation in life. Don't get scared! There will be NO dogma posted here. By creation I simply mean the actual act of creating anything with pride. Whether you like baking, painting, playing guitar, or conversation- it's all creation.

So what do I create you ask? The answer is beer and music. I hope to spread these joys to my close friends and loved ones (you know who you are). I would also like to keep myself 100% anonymous, as social media can be used against you. My love of beer will almost instantly have any potential employer label me as an alcoholic (shallow judgements are what HR departments specialize in). As such, to thoes of you who recognize me, please do not post my name here. Simply use my moniker: Podster!

I will now proceed to fill this page with my passion for friends and beer. Be prepared for a strange view of the world, as that is what I specialize in.
